That one was a long time coming. So happy for her!! The route setting was really difficult this WC, well done to all the athletes!
Amazing performance by Brooke!! Feel like this will be a very successful season for her with many more victories to come!
The announcement of winners actually had me tearing up. So inspiring to see how much these competitors support each other, even when they don’t get the outcome they want. What an amazing community!
This was really fun to watch and I loved that none of the six finalists had won gold yet, so whoever won was going to be a new champion. Brooke really made some of those boulders look easy, she’s so talented. And to get 3 tops when no one besides Hannah got one – wow! Brooke really did well in the off-season to prepare for this first comp. I really wanted Hannah to win, especially considering she was clearly wanting to win in memory of Christoph Schweiger, so it’s too bad that she wasn’t able to top the third boulder to keep herself in it going into the final boulder. But of course a second place finish is still excellent for Hannah, and there are of course many more opportunities for her to top the podium this season!
I’m so happy for Brooke. It was only a matter of time for her to win. It was one of the best Finals ever
This final was one of the best I’ve ever watched. Definitely teared up, and Quinn was amazing in the booth!
Amazing finals, well done to Brooke and the rest of the athletes. Amazing climbing by all.
But IFSC, please show us the zone attempts in your score graphic! There’s plenty of room there for it, and with 3 people having the same score otherwise, it’s nice to see what separated them
Almost never watch the medal ceremonies. Watched this one and cried for all 3. Beautiful. And so sad about Christoph Sweiger.
Great comp. So happy for Brook she is so strong and so well rounded. It’s amazing to see her growth. Also, that beautiful smile she always has.
Great line up! …. Fantastic to see a varied assortment of different countries 😁
I’m glad Anon received a medal and hope she can build on it in the coming season. It’s going to be difficult to make the Japanese Olympic Team in both men and women.
Hannah Meul has really improved from last year.
Brooke always had the talent and glad she was able win a World Cup Series event.
Incredible finals. So happy for Brooke, so well deserved.
What a fantastic show! Congratulations to Brooke on her first gold medal! And great commentary from Matt and Quinn 😃
Amazing performance by Brooke! So great to finally see her on top of the podium! Also, shout out to Quinn whose fantastic commentating really took this whole event to the next level.
Congratulations BROOKE❤❤❤ OUR GOLD MEDALIST ! THAT WAS A GREAT STARTING FOR THIS SEASON. Good Job 🎉💕
The IFSC finally gets some proper commentating! Fantastic job Quinn!— more Quinn please!
So happy for Brook…. She was right there but just short all year last year… she’s been getting stronger and stronger….
Way to start the season Brooke! Such a beautiful display of power and skill!
